As for the bike, the finished product far exceeds my expectations. This unique bicycle fits me both geometrically and esthetically. To put it simply, I love this work of art and it is already a family heirloom. As this is my first steel bike I was not sure what to expect, I am very pleased at how lively the bike is and what confidence it inspires on the road, it climbs much better than I anticipated and is very stable on quick descents ( both a big plus for me). I look forward to many years and thousands of miles of wonderful riding on my "Townsend" road bike.
